The second album illuminates human existence in post-capitalism and repeatedly captures it in culinary metaphors. Among other things, the question arises between the songs: How to pleasure and leisure in the face of the impending apocalypse? This dynamic range is also reflected musically, with songs that celebrate destruction and songs that lament decay. Erregung Öffentlicher Erregung put this on “Speisekammer des Weltendes”, as on its predecessor, in a very varied way, but even better to the point. Where there is punk, it is even louder, where there is Krautrock, it is even more matted. The album was produced by Olaf Opal, who contrasted these facets even more.
